Appeal progress so far
We have appointed a barrister and his team, plus experts on noise, visual impact and amenity, sleep deprivation and health and safety. Consideration will be given to additional witnesses. Huntingdonshire District Council will be basing their case on the adverse impact to the setting of Toseland Hall. Statements of Case have now been submitted to the Planning Inspectorate and the Preliminary Inquiry Meeting will be held on March 18 at Huntingdonshire District Council’s offices, starting at 10.00am. We would welcome the attendance of supporters – more details will be posted here as soon as we have them.
The Public Inquiry is planned to open at Huntingdonshire District Council’s office on May 18 2010 and may last 8 or 9 days. A detailed programme will not be available until nearer the time. The public are welcomed and we are trying to find out how many seats will be available. We will be encouraging as many people as possible to attend the first day to ensure the Inspector realises the strength of local opposition.
